La Maison Crème
TERMS AND BOOKING CONDITIONS FOR LA MAISON CRÈME
The Property known as La Maison Creme, is offered for rental by Martin Mould and Julie Caldwell£ ("The Owners") to the renter ("The Holidaymaker") under the following conditions.
PRICES
All prices quoted are per house per week. A Breakage and Key deposit of £150 is required, and should be paid with the final balance. In addition if the safety turtle pool alarms are required a deposit of £50 per bracelet will be required, both of these will be refunded on return of the keys and alarms, subject to reduction for any breakages. There are no other hidden charges levied by the Owners.
PAYMENTS
Reservations made by phone or email will be held for 7 working days. A contract only comes into existence when we have received the deposit together with a signed Reservation Form and we have issued a written confirmation of booking.
The deposit is £280.00 per week is required. This secures the agreed booking period. The balance of the rental is due not less than eight weeks prior to the start of the holiday unless late booking conditions have been agreed. If payment is not received on the due date, the owner’s reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by you and the dates will be offered to other interested parties. All deposits are non-refundable. It is advisable to take out adequate insurance to cover any loss or damage you may incur.
OCCUPANCY
The number of persons using the property must not exceed the numbers agreed and the owner cannot accept more people than the maximum number advertised. If it is found that more people than agreed are using the property, this will be considered breach of contract and the holidaymakers will be asked to leave immediately without any refund.
CANCELLATION BY YOU
Will result in loss of the deposit. If we receive notice of cancellation less than Eight weeks before your holiday start date, you will be charged the full amount due unless we can re-let the property. If we re-let we reserve the right to retain the deposit to cover expenses.
We strongly advise you to take out adequate insurance to cover this eventuality. Please inform us immediately by telephone and confirm your cancellation in writing. If after we have issued a Booking Confirmation, you wish to alter your booking, please let us know immediately. We will endeavor to accommodate you, but this may not be possible.
CANCELLATION BY US
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking or there are major changes to it due to matters beyond our control which are not covered below, we will advise you as soon as possible and will endeavor to offer you suitable alternative accommodation. If this is not possible or you do not wish to accept the alternatives offered, we would give you a complete refund of all monies paid by you.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The property will be available to you from 3pm on the day of your arrival until 10am on the day of your departure. Changeover days are on Saturday unless stated otherwise. The property is cleaned before letting, however you are responsible for keeping and leaving the property in a clean and tidy condition.
DAMAGE AND BREAKAGE DEPOSITS
Should you or other members of your party or guests cause any damage to the property, its contents, grounds, or any third party then you will be deemed responsible for such damage. Should you find any of the amenities listed in the property description damaged or broken, please bring it to the Owners attention immediately to avoid any later repercussions please do not attempt to replace any items broken as most things are part of a set and spares may be held and only replacement cost£ will be charged.
A breakage deposit of £150 is required with your final balance. All monies paid to the Owners as breakage deposits are the property of the Owners and will be returned on receipt of the keys, less any deductions for breakages if applicable.
Holidaymakers are responsible at all times for the safety and behaviour of their children. The owners
FORCE MAJEUR
We cannot accept liability in any circumstances where performance of the contract is prevented by reason of: War or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, flood or adverse weather conditions, acts of God, closure of ports or airports, epidemics, government action or any similar events outside our control.
INSURANCE & LIABILITY
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that you and your party remain safe whilst at La Maison Crème the owners accept no responsibility or liability for you or your party or your belongings and we strongly recommend that your party have adequate travel insurance to cover all eventualities.
COMPLAINTS
If a problem arises, please notify the owners immediately. No complaint will be entertained unless it is raised with the Owners or Owners representative before the property is vacated and confirmed in writing within 7 days of the end of your holiday. We reserve the right to terminate a booking at any time if any of these conditions are not met in full and you will be asked to leave the property. Please check all details of your booking confirmation carefully.
Should the holidaymaker not wish to accept the above terms and conditions, he should write to the owner within two weeks of the deposit being paid in which case a full refund will be made. If such request is not made within two weeks it will be deemed that the holidaymaker has accepted the above terms and conditions
Under no circumstances shall the Owners liability to the Holidaymaker exceed the amount paid to the Owner for the rental period. English Law shall govern this contract in all its aspects.
